Add the sack on Lee when Lyle Hitt got yanked by his facemask. I think the official is right there watching it if you could get him in the shot.

Y'all are looking at where the center is holding the ball after he has positioned it in his hand and is ready to snap it(the fifity). Look across the field and you will see where the 4th down marker is actually located on the sideline. The ball was not on the 50.

So you're saying it should have been a false start on the center prior to the snap? They called our "flinch" FWIW.

heres the video of Petersons pic. im fricking disgusted by this.
I am disgusted as well. In both 2006 and now in 2009, Refs at Auburn and Alabama made horrendous calls that cost us any chance of winning these games thereby ending our chances for SEC championships and possible national championships. Pathetic is too good a word for what's happening in the state of Alabama. Cheating to win is all they know.

If someone can find a photo of that, I will gladly add it to the OP.

So he repositioned the ball a yard behing the marker? Not likely. If anything the ball would have been repositioned in front of the marker. Long snappers usually stretch the ball forward when positioning not backwards.

At most, it's a foot inside the 50 and on the play, the ball is less than a foot from the 1st down marker, which was on a yardline, so they still gained half of a yard.

That being said, does the DL make the stop with those extra 18 inches?

Great compilation, even though seeing still images of everything just pisses me off even more.

What's really sad, is the replay official had the ability to freeze frame that footage at exactly that point as well.

Please also add the uncalled facemask on Trindon after his KO return. The whistle was blown and then the defender actually lifts him by his face mask while the camera is zoomed in on trindon seated with his legs toward the camera. (after the tackle. approx 340 pm if that helps

also the non existent offsides penalty on deangelo petterson he never moved.

First down Tigers, right? Think again...
Notice the ref has his foot ON the mark while standing on the sideline? It's so he KNOWS where NOT to spot it when he runs in.

I am not sure if you are serious but to win in
Alabama we have to be much better than they are, since we always (and this goes back a long time) get screwed on a few major calls when we play there. This year was just worse than usual.

Peterson pick was one of the worst replayed calls in the history of organized football.

You know, I think I will agree. Worst replay ruling I have ever ever seen.

I can easily see how it was a very difficult call to make on the field. I still think the official had a good look and with the divot, and the lack of a bobble by Peterson, the play should have been ruled an Int. on the field to be reviewed. But ill give em a break. It was close.

The replay however was down right wrong. Just blatantly wrong. It wasnt even close on the replay. That left foot was in bounds with green between his foot and the white line. With multiple camera views I just dont see how they came up with that decision.

I wonder, how many camera views does the replay official have at his disposal. Does he see every replay we see on tv?
