I see that Les burned his redshirt against AU.

Anyone have a sense of how he played?

well, he started, so I'm guessing the coaches think highly of him and will continue to use him. nothing he did really jumped out at me though.

James suffered a slight concussion fwiw. He's pretty upset right now that he has to sit out.

Watch the replays. #1) Slow into the hole as lead back 2) Hesitant at contact and #3) Seemed to not know assignments. Looked like a freshman.

I cant attest to number 3, but 1 and 2 I agree with.

These posts that rave about a player before they get playing time are laughable. #33 has a great future, but he's a soft frosh that the coaches were forced to us. If #35 isn't back next game it will be interesting to see what Crowton will do.

I'm pretty sure he has tree trunks as legs though which could help open up some holes if he ever hits somebody

Go back the last 2 months and read the foolishness. For example, read what's being predicted about Ford. He may be a great, but lets see how he first does on special teams next year.

I never "predicted" anything about the dude. Said a lot of negatives about KW when ranters were saying he would likely go in the first round of the NFL draft. I hope Ridley does well and am a big fan, but I'm not going to hero worship. I'll let his own success (or lack of it) tell the story. I want him to do well. #32 is the man and #5 is second team and they deserve their places. The story on #34 will unfold next year.

He's still better than Dugas. If Stampley can't play, they may at least use Allen at FB since he can actually get better.

I do recall Allen looking lost a couple of times, but I also seem to remember a couple of decent blocks. A little experience will go a long way for the limited number of plays they'll expect out of him.

I really did not see him do alot but he is our only true fullback and he will be more of a factor when he gets in shape
