Probably gonna get this game when i get a PS3. Anybody played? Is it too hard to be fun like a few of the reviews said

That reviewer was either a pussy or, no, that's about it, he/she was a pussy.
It's not much of a forgiving game, but death doesn't have much of a penalty. I've had a lot of times where I racked up a bunch of souls (used as currency as well as to level) and died in a bad spot. Tried to rush back, died again before reaching the spot I first died, lost it all.
It has a steep-ish learning curve but really it's not that bad. And it's fun. I love invading other games, or killing invaders when they join mine.

The only negatives that some of the critics have is that its too frustrating or shite like that but thats only by a few. It got a 89 overall on Metacritic dot com which is top 20 PS3 game ever.
I don't play too many RPG's but this one really looks good to me and of course challenging. One of the main reasons that i'm gettin a PS3.
