Whose Tailgaing and Where?
Posted by TigerFanNBama on 10/22/09 at 11:00 pm00
So a group of us decided to come down there this weekend and we are from North Alabama. We really don't know alot about what goes on down there like where to park, tailgate, and buy tickets. Any suggestions?
P.S. We are big LSU fans and wanna have a good time in the motherland the only games we get to go to are stupid Auburn and Bama.
Thx in advance

gonna be tough to park, unless you get there mid-morning....try the levee or the hayfield lots....as far as tailgating, you can't miss it....it will stretch for miles around the stadium...the parade grounds area seems to be mostly students, while the streets seem to have a more balanced mixture...
as you have probably heard, get the gameday schedule and check out the festivities around the pmac like the team and the band marching down the hill, etc....
eta: tickets may be tough to get....just make a sign or hold up fingers while walking through the tailgaiting areas....

if you are looking near campus, walk ons, mellow mushroom, chimes and the varsity are your best beat

someone posted a link for me about shuttle buses running from different sites....if you are not familar with campus and where to park it might be best to just pay for the shuttle....
