So he quit Football, to help his family FULL TIME after Hurricane Katrina. With no football he had ZERO income.
This was a very stupid decision. I understand emotions...but he walked away from millions and a roster spot with the seahawks for nothing.
This is his fault. He never should have put himself out of the league like that. Very bad decision which has led to his demise.
