I can simply get no enjoyment out of watching this LSU team play football. Period. And when that becomes an every week occurrance, that's when I say there's a huge problem, and there's a huge problem.
Compare game 1 vs. game 6. I can't point to one single thing that has improved offensively. In fact, we're regressing. And with good coaching that should NEVER happen. Not with a coaching staff getting paid what these guys are getting paid. Self assessments obviously aren't going well this year or last.
Defensively I can point to a handful of improvements that have been made since game 1. We're certainly not a lights out defense by any means, but there's the slightest glimmer of improvement in that group, especially when you consider how much we lack with our front 4.
I just cannot fathom the thought process in the offensive coaching staff to trot out this offensive philosophy, particularly with the expectations that come with this program, and expect that to be satisfactory. It's not like this should be a huge surprise to the staff. They had to see warning signs in practice leading up to this season.
I fear that we'll now be in a cycle of Miles replacing coordinator after coordinator to "fix it" and we'll be 3 years down the road with an average SEC football program again with zero national leverage.

Then quit watching. I feel the program will be just fine without you. Also, please don't come to the Cap1 or Cotton Bowl later this year if you don't enjoy watching this team.

ok, genius...then you tell me what has improved offensively since game 1 and explain why you aren't concerned.
give me one example.

I understand what you are saying. I get a little bit of enjoyment but I get much more aggravated than anything.
It's supposed to be fun to watch your team play. Miles has pretty much destroyed that.

You should stop watching.

stop watching....yep. if that's the solution to the problems on the field then we're in more trouble than I thought.

You have to be pretty stupid to continue doing something that gives you absolutely no enjoyment.

Its pretty simple really, this is not news, if u put a good product on the field, the fans will enjoy the games, and continue to fill the stadium, if not, the fan base will erode. True tiger fans will support this team through thick and thin, provided they see a team that is striving to get better

you're a wuss... don't watch then

what I find stupid, sad and pathetic is having such low expectations for the product put on the field each week this year. if you're happy with that, then I truly feel bad for you.

It's not a solution to problems on the field, just to you being a jackass. You hate watching the team so much? If you have tickets I know people who would gladly take them off your hands.

Sale your tickets and watch the Ark-Fla. game on the other ESPN channel.
Man, did you just realize what you said. Obviously not a true LSU fan.

So what can you do about it to change that?

being called a jackass for having expectations beyond what we currently see is humorous.
I guess I have as much a right to continue watching the team and expecting a better product and commenting when I don't see it... just as you guys have for apparently enjoying your 100+ ranked offense.
I'm surprised that high expectations have become such a no no around here.

I agree with everything you just said. I can't see any improvements on offense at all. From play calling to overall performance. There is no way with the talent we have we should not be scoring 30 points a game. Hell it should have been 28-0 at half of the Georgia game. But for some reason we are not doing the things necessary to put points on the board. It just simply has not been fun watching LSU be terrible on offense this year. Everybody wants to see a good performance and for us to be 109th in the nation in total offense is absolutely ridiculous.

Why dont you hurry and get on the Tennesee train before it derails

Have you read anything on here in the last 3 weeks? Expectations are very high and most, if not all, think we are underperforming. Saying you're going to quit watching is the problem.

Ah yes...4 year old responses. Shocking.
And imagine that...no one has managed to answer my earlier question regarding what one thing has improved on offense since game one. And apparently most of you are satisfied with that. wow.

for the record...I never said I was going to quit watching. I was responding to the fool who suggested I do just that.
