The 3 O'clock High thread got me to thinking about this. Richard Tyson was 26 when he appeared in this movie (subtracting his birth year from the year the movie was released). Similarly, Keven Bacon was 26 in Footloose.
I wonder if someone can find a 30 yeard old.

Stockard Channing was 33 when Grease was filmed

Apparently 90210 was filmed until 2000, at which point Ian Ziering was 36. I never watched the show, so I am not sure when they all graduated from high school, but he may have been in his thirties for some of that stuff.

Michael J Fox had to be up there in Back to the Future and Family Ties.

I never watched it either, but it was a well-known running joke that most of that show's cast were too old for their roles. I remember seeing Luke What's-his-name on Letterman. After the usual star chit-chat, Letterman asked him, "So how old are you now? 51, 52?"

Jonah Hill was 26 in Superbad I believe. Also the enforcer for the varsity on The Mighty Ducks 3 was 32.

Half of the cast was in their mid to late 30's when the show ended.

The fat guy who played Billy Bob in Varsity Blues was 28 years old at the time of filming. James Van Der Beek was 22.

Selma Blair was 28 playing a 14 year old 9th grader in Cruel Intentions.

Gabrielle Cateris, who Played Andrea on 90210 was 29 when the series started and she was playing a sophomore, and was her mid 30's by the time she left the show in 1995 when they were heading to college.

I think we have a winner. Of course it counts. Why wouldn't it? Nice call.

It was just a small part of the movie. Not really the central focus. I did not want to lose on a technicality.

Ha no technicality, this thread is over and you have won. One of the best scenes of the movie was in Forrest's high school days and plus that's when Bear Bryant notices him running home after school from the bullies.

The chick that plays Lyla in Friday Night Lights is 29 this year, so she had to be 27 or so as a "senior" at Dillon High.
