We are already going to CP for lunch (we always do). This trip we will be in an extra day, and therefore can fit in another nice lunch. Restaurant August, Cuvee, and MiLa all have good lunch specials (three courses in the $20 to $24 range). Which restaurant would you pick?

Have been to any of the three restuarants?

No, that's why I'm asking.

eta: We have reservations at August but then I noticed the others had good specials too.

You really can't go wrong at any of them. I would go to MiLa. If you do go, make sure and get an extra side of the grits with truffles.

Mila lunch special was awesome. I brought my GF and we both throughly enjoyed it. Nice clean atmosphere, and professionally created dishes. I am dying to try the other two to see how they stack up.

I'm not sure about the specific lunch specials. But purely in terms of food, I think MiLa is as good as it gets in New Orleans right now. I love that place.

Here's the 3 course prix fixe lunch menu. I started leaning towards it after making the reservations at RA. I thought about sticking with RA then going to MiLa for some drinks and ordering off the bar menu. Decisions decisions!

I had the best lunch I have had in years catch me out of nowhere the last time I went to Cuvee. That said, the chef just left, so my vote would be August.
