An Old Man's Wisdom

I sent a co-worker of mine the article calling out the LSU fans. He's a 60 year old man who gives the following wisdom:
4 and 0 is what counts. To use an analogy to best describe the game day expectations. If the police have to arrest a burglar for breaking into your home. Do you want to see him with handcuffs on, handcuffs and an arse whipping?, and even better, handcuffs, an arse whipping, and a gunshot to the leg? Personally, I am satisfied with the arrest, but I’d be really happy if there is an accompanying arse whipping and gun shot.

Sorry...
we have barely squeezed by, if the competition was to stay at the level we have played, I may go along with him....
having said that..a win is a win Pretty or Ugly.
now that the WINS are over and discussed, the problem lies with
a)the competition will improve
b)parts of our game are not up to par.
c)you can't wait until the losses come, to fix something that is obvious.
you would not keep you butt on the train track and keep saying over and over...OOPS that was close.
...
BTW, I am one yr older than your friend.

But if someone keeps breaking into my house and perps are getting cuffed and taken away, there's a problem. I need to find out why that damn house looks appealing or where the week spots are and fix them.

you seem to agree with me that WINS by themselves are not the whole story....there is a problem needing to be fixed...

Well, I'm 6 years older than your friend and I kind of agree. I'd like to see an arse-whipping, but I will be happy with a win. Notice, I did not say satisfied, just happy. And, I still have all my teeth, lol. Go Tigers!!!
