The Tigers don't do anything well, and yet are still winning ballgames. How do you gameplan for a team that looks below average in most aspects on film, but yet finds a way to win?

Well, if you're a good team unlike any of the teams LSU has played so far, you gameplan by seeing what LSU isn't doing well, and expose it. Teams with inept offenses and defenses like MSU or Vandy may not be able to take advantage and that's why LSU is "finding ways to win." Good teams will be able to expose things.

I guess what I'm saying is we look like shite on film. We don't execute anything (except for the occasional timing route) well. We can't pass or run block. We limit ourselves to half (the near side) the field. Our defense doesn't tackle well. Our DB's (aside from Peterson) can't make a play on the ball in the air.

Has LSU won 4 ballgames on sheer talent or am I missing something?

Superior talent. And we all know that wont get you far against a team with equal talent and good coaching.

Alabama is the only TEAM who's talent = LSU.

Definitely not UGA, Ark, FLA, or OM.

I'm not saying we win any of those games...just saying we've got the potential if we can start executing.

Florida has less talent than LSU? Seriously?

They aren't clearly better. They are however executing a consistent and identifiable offense.

How is that a preparation nightmare? You look for things that you can exploit when you prepare.

What UGA is doing all week in practice is they will have a player with a white jersey wearing #7, he will be covering A.J. Green. They will try to pick him at the line and if that doesn't work they will find another receiver.

The other thing that they will want to do is run a lot of counter runs to get our LBs to overpursue.

They will also get their best athlete to wear jersey with #10 on it. When he enters the game they will go to man on the eligible receivers and play gap control...like an option QB that rarely throws.

You're fricking stupid. Florida doesn't have the same talent, if not more than LSU? UGA, who is consistently a good program year in and year out, lets not forget, has owned LSU the past 3 times doesn't have equal talent? Take your P&G glasses off and shove them up your arse. You're blind as hell.

There are two things you can do:

1. stack the box
2. wait for LSU to ram into the stacked box

LSU has won 4 games on nothing more than talent. Yea, I'm an idiot.

I think you're seeing what you want to see...you go into every game negative and you look for any evidence to support your stance.

I'm as positive as I can be. I just haven't seen consistently satisfactory execution of anything. What's so hard to understand about that?

I'm not pointing fingers like most on here. Just saying there is a breakdown between the way it's drawn up and the way it shakes out. That's true about offense, defense, and special teams. Not being a dick, just being observational.

I think it's time that a field leader emerges. Until then, this team will continue to be listless and maligned.

Lol, maybe this is the GENIUS or MADNESS of Les Miles. Rope-a-dope the first 4 games and come out getting first round knock outs from here on out.

WHAT IF......Les really has been holding back?? Les is crazy. We all know that. What he has developed some diabolical scheme fool his SEC foes into thinking that LSU is ready to be beaten?

.....umm........believe it when I see it. But remember we all felt like this(skeptical/gloom and doom) going into the GaTech game and look what happened.

dude, that is a fantasy. im not saying lsu is going to lose from here on out, but what we have seen so far is our team. im just holding out hope that this team has learned and knows the most important thing: how to win.
