Read the other reviews and I have to say the food was just as awesome as everyone says. Had the fajitas and they are definitely one of the best in town. Service also was great, ended up tipping server very well. The one glaring problem was that it was extremely LOUD. I mean can hear yourself think loud. It was busy because of dollar margaritas, but it was bad enough I couldn't hardly hear the waiter or my wife from a couple feet away. It wasn't a band or anything either, it sounded like everyone in the place was shouting in your ear. Think they need to get some acoustics worked out- until then I'll take the food to go or try to find a much less busy night. Can't imagine the place on weekends.

Been there a few times, and can't say that I had this problem.

Try the Kobe beef fajitas sometime.

I noticed the noise too when I was there a couple of weeks ago. It didn't bother me enough to say I won't dine in again.

Had them last week, truly delicious. Our server was also very good, and happened to mention that it could get a little loud in there.

The bar area though, meh.

The wife and I went Saturday night. Started out with the Ceviche. Verrry Good. I had the Milagros which is a poblano pepper stuffed with seasoned ground meat and cheese, wrapped in tortillas and deep fried. This was good as well. But like an earlier poster the restaurant was very loud.

We had the Milagros and the Charascaria. The Milagros was excellent. The charascaria has cold sausage, slimy chicken, undercooked shrimp and beef that was devoid of taste. The big mound of potatoes were good, but a strange pairing.

We tried the side of grits. They wer ok.

The house margarita was diluted from melted ice.

The place has potential.

Has anyone had the Kobe burger?

I'm under the impression that they run a margarita special on Mondays.

When I ordered the Kobe fajitas, I chatted up the manager about the Kobe burger. I asked him why they'd even bother offering one, since the whole point of Kobe steak was to have something juicy and well-marbled. He said that the Kobe burger was good, but fessed up that even he couldn't tell a real difference between that and another burger that they could make.

There are so many interesting items on the menu, that you'd be doing yourself a disservice to get a burger. If I want a fantastic burger, I'll head out to Mason's Grill.

I had the quail once at Serrano's and hated it.

Then again, that was Serrano's, so no big shocker.

Since then, I haven't had the desire to try the quail again at a Tex-Mex restaurant. I can't think of many places that even serve it.
