There are lots of speculation that Chuck will be back before the end of the month.

This is very, very good news. They just need to find a good night & time slot for it. If they put it back on Mondays, I have a feeling it won't do much better and will just give NBC another reason to let it go.

They setup last season's ending perfectly. I'm pretty pumped to see where they go with Chuck's new power. Yvonne Strahovski is just f'ing smokin hot in every episode and needs to be TV every night as far as I'm concerned. Plus, Adam Baldwin is a badass yet has some of the best lines on the show sometimes. Just a great show all-around and it's great that those who have watched the show from the begining (I'm proud to say I have) showed enough support to give NBC a reason to bring it back for season 3.

I am glad to hear the good news as well and I agree with you on everything you said.

Chuck is getting murdered on Monday nights and they do need to find a better time slot for it. One can only hope if NBC drops it, someone else will pick it up and give it a better slot.

One of the best, feel good shows on television. It's a shame NBC sucks so bad right now. As much as I hope it comes back sooner, I don't want it too if they can't do a proper promotion campaign.

Same here. Cutting it to half a season sucked but it saved the show so I'll take what I can get. I don't think Leno's going anywhere anytime soon, since his production is so cheap, but his show is really screwing the rest of us.

NBC also need's to learn how to cut budget on bigger profile dud's like Heroe's before they just up and ax a solid performer like Chuck.

I loved this show from episode one. My biggest fear is that NBC won't give it a chance.

And yes, Yvonne is hot. So hot in fact, that on the final episode last season, when she walked across the screen in her underwear, my wife said, "Now that's a great arse." God I love my wife.

mondays are wayy too competitive for a show still trying to find a big audience. There has been talk of putting it on fridays, but that's a death sentence there as well. I would hope for tuesday, make the biggest loser trim down (pun intended) to one hour and put Chuck on at either 7 or 8, probably 8 would work best getting a big lead in from the biggest loser. The only thing then would be that they would be going against NCIS and NCIS:LA, but I don't think there is much of a crossover audience between the two shows, and I think the NCIS numbers are inflated because nothing else is on tuesday right now.

This is what I was thinking. I think it could compete against NCIS:LA if, like you mentioned, they are willing to take an hour away from Biggest Loser. That being said, besides Sunday night football, the only other shows NBC has had that's been in the top 20 for the last 2-3 weeks are The Offic (and it's barely in there w/o the wedding special) and The Biggest Loser. But, what the hell else is there to watch on Tuesdays?

As someone else mentioned, if NBC isn't going to fully support the show and give it the backing and ad time it needs to keep it alive, I almost don't want them to bring it back. They'd have it on 2 or 3 shows and then pull the plug blaming it on the ratings; I'd be extremely pissed.

I'm excited to hear that, I hope the writing can still be crisp with such a late order for 6 more eps. In other words, I hope it doesn't turn into to 13 good episodes and 6 filler ones. Also, once again, I hope they don't put it up against some ratings juggernaut and have unrealistic expectations for it, just so they can end up cancelling it.

I can't wait for Chuck to begin. I've heard more like January now and Scrubs might even get a December 1 premiere when Dancing with the stars ends on ABC

from the first comment from that link:
quote:

writer Phil Klemmer stated they were breaking episode 12. He felt that any additional episodes would be a separate mini-season.

Phil believed the current 13 episode arc would not be changed. He also called the current arc 'really tight.'

Of course that interview was done before the announcement so things may still change.

If additional episodes were ordered Phil was riffing on maybe doing a mini-season with Team Bartowski abroad - which would be way cool.

Chuck is one of my favorites. I will have to rewatch the season 2 finale on my DVR before the new season starts.

This is enough to keep the series going, IMO.

Have you all noticed that last season, they showed her in underwear a good bit? Not that I minded, I think it was a tactic to get people talking and watching the show more.

I just like all the hot chicks that seem to come on the show. I am a HUGE fan, I'll be watching every week.
