GEORGIA GAME ROLL CALL + TAILGATING PLANS

im just seeing who all is going to the game next weekend. i was on here last year for the games at Auburn and at Florida and planned some nice tailgates. we had a really good turn out at both games and i am planning on a huge tailgate this year in Athens. i will be getting to athens early thursday morning to check out tailgating spots. Due to the 3:30pm (eastern time zone), we will be setting up shop very early saturday morning, im thinking 6 or 7am.
well, if anyone is interested in planning this tailgate also, please feel free to respond on here or email me at jac1280@gmail.com

I'm in, but it's only a 45 minute roll from the crib for me ... 
I'll be in the Tech Deck for the first time. I've been to Sanford Stadium many, many times, but never had to sit up there before. I heard from my brother-in-law back in 2004 that it was total crap.
Better than sitting with the leg-humpers though.

ok sounds good, you bringing anyone with you? its me and 3 friends coming from slidell. we are bringing our whole tailgate set-up, ie...canopies, chairs, generator, music, beer pong, alcohol, all kinds of food, etc....
im sure as it gets closer, more people will respond and join in. last year at florida and auburn, we probably had 100 people just around our tailgate that was planned here on tigerdroppings.

I'm tailgating with all my UGA crew. My wife and I will be the only ones decked out in P&G, but it will be a good time.

We'll be there, going with UGA folks, but will be wearing the colors with pride. They have quite a few punks there, but all in all the tailgate is pretty decent.

The last time LSU was in Athens, most of us wound up at this high school parking lot. Even the guys in the Unsupervised Schoolbus were there. My directions suck, but check the Dawg Pound website. They should be able to tell you the location. FYI...bunch of LSU Alumni from ATL and BR have a parking lot downtown, as well; might want to check with ATL Alumni ASsn and see if they've got any spots left. See ya in Athens.

we are staying about 2.5 miles from campus.
does anyone know if there are shuttles or cab service from the surrounding areas.

I will be there also. Probably will get there friday afternoon some time. What will everyone be doing Friday night. I havent been to Athens since 04 but I remember there being a bunch of bars just can't remember the names of them.

Skeeter79, there are cabs, not sure about shuttles though. A cab will work before the game getting to campus, but will be tough after the game, espcially if you go out downtown after. Get the cab driver card/number and they might come get you at some point.

I will be there with 1 other. Flying in from Houston and looking for a good tailgate. Won't have any of our tailgating equipment, but will have a rolling cooler full of beer and booze!
