I remember JJ27 and SFP saying Henry would be a pleasant surprise this year. I'm pretty sure JJ drafted him in every single league. He got so much hype on this board because of him, that they had me second guessing myself when I said he sucked.

He got 2 looks out of 33 pass attempts for Cinci. On top of that, Cinci's offensive line is pretty awful.

Do you guys wait it out? Or is he a 1st week drop?

yeah but you not really sure how legit those guys are either, i think Henry has the upside, but to each his own. Is there anyone else you could drop?

LOL, out loud at everyone who reached like crazy for Henry. Palmer is still a statue back there.

I'd wait it out. He had a thigh injury so that might of been what slowed him down.

It seems as if Henry was a victim of his own preseason success. Said Palmer, "They weren't going to let the ball go over their heads. They played two deep safeties - as deep as a safety that I've ever seen. Their mindset was to not let us throw the ball downfield. We tried to a number of times, but you just can't force it. We had Chris on a number of deep routes, but if he's double covered ... You have to take your shots when the shots are there. You can't take shots just to take shots. They came with that mindset, and they did a good job. They have two really good cover corners and an experienced safety in (Brian) Dawkins. They lined up 25 yards deep and started backpedaling. They weren't going to let the ball go over their heads. They wanted to keep the ball in front of them, and they did a good job of that."

I'd keep him a couple more weeks. It's up to 85 and Coles to suck tham safeties up with the underneath routes. A running game would help too but you can't have everything!

I wasn't touting him with everyone else pre-draft, but I don't think his career is over because of one lousy game. If you'll notice, Coles had squat as well. It was just a dismal performance for Cinci through the air, with the exception of my WR OchoCinco.

That said,
quote:

Donald Driver
is a legitimate No. 2 fantasy producer. He didn't do that well this week, but he always starts slow. I just do not believe that we saw the Green Bay last night that we'll see for the rest of the season.
quote:

Hester,
is Mr. Speedy, as he showed last night, but I'm still not sold on his value as a solid No. 2. No. 3, maybe.

Earl Bennett
Was on my sleeper list and I drafted him. It is obvious that Cutler trusts him after how many looks he got last night. But he still didn't get 100 yards or a TD, so don't bench your No. 1 for him yet.

IMO, Cinci will develop the passing game in future weeks and someone will benefit, be it Coles or Henry. So I don't know if I'd drop him yet, but I'd be really tempted if Driver was out there for the taking.

You should probably drop Boldin and Andre Johnson too after 1 week.

In all seriousness, it's just 1 week. I didn't draft Henry before the 10th round though and he was squarely on my bench in all 3 leagues.

I would take all 3 of the guys you listed over Henry. I would've taken them in my draft as well. I never touted Henry as more than a WR3 on your roster with huge upside.
