Assuming we're all undefeated, do you think GameDay chooses Baton Rouge for the LSU/Florida game or Oxford for the Ole Miss/Bama game?

I would have to go with Baton Rouge because of the better atmosphere. But if all 4 are undefeated it could be a toss up.

I'm more concerned about which of those games will be chosen for the coveted 8 PM CBS slot.

I want to play Florida at night.

They've never been to Oxford, and Ole Miss is the media darling this year like Georgia was last year. So until they fall apart, the media is going to stay all over them.

If all are undefeated, it'll be close but i think they'll go to Oxford, it's been on like all there lists of places to go for years now, every year Herbie and crew say they want to make it to Oxford.

I agree, and also LSU FLORIDA is a much bigger game nationally for the casual fan. Bama has comparable appeal but Ole Miss has been down for too long

IF all 4 would be, that would make for a hell of a day in the SEC. I would think they would come to BR b/c UF would be #1 and LSU would prob be around #7. Prob looking at Bama around #4 and Ol Miss #5. LSU always plays great games on Saturday nights though

Not even close, B.R. It is the only real test Florida will have this year, according to the pundits at espn, so they will have to come here.

If everybody is undefeated, I would think that Oxford will get the nod.

I don't really care if they come or not. It wont make much of a difference to me.

This has been debated on Ole Miss boards all summer. If all four teams are undefeated, that's going to be a tough choice to make for ESPN. I go back and forth on this, but right now I'd guess they'll choose Oxford for a few reasons.
1. It'd be at least a top 6 match.
2. They've never been to Oxford and have been to Baton Rouge a thousand times.
3. Fowler and Herbstreit have both publicly expressed a desire to do Gameday from the Grove.
4. This season might be their only chance to do Oxford for another 20 years.

I think Ole Miss has two good shots at hosting this year between the Bama and LSU games. I'm still pissed ESPN chose the same ol' boring OSU-Mich game in '03 for the millionth year instead of ceasing a rare opportunity in the LSU-OM game in Oxford. That was a hell of a game (until Eli tripped and fell.)

As far as atmosphere, I can assure you, there will be plenty of electricity in Oxford when Bama comes to town if we're undefeated. My main concern right now is pulling off what will likely be a tough win in Columbia two weeks from tonight.

I think Bama-Ole Miss as that game will be on the ESPN family because CBS will have LSU-UF

Fail. CBS is having a double header that day, where have you been?

They pick the two they want. And they haven't announced times either.

Then why would anyone think LSU wouldn't get the night game nod?
