South Carolina was winless in 99, but a good team in 2000

1-10 in 98 and 0-11 in 1999 as a major conference team to 8-4 Outback Bowl winners in 2000. Any team that would have traveled halfway across the country to win in Columbia that year would have done something positive, even with the Cocks record in 1999.
I am not saying Washington will be like that, they could still suck. But they have the talent and enough of a coaching upgrade that a winning season and a bowl win wouldn't be outrageous.
Want to say LSU looked sloppy and downright bad at times yesterday? That is a reasonable opinion. But the whole, we barely beat a 0-12 team from last year is a weak argument. This Washington does not have the talent and the coaching staff of a 0-12 team, period.

That kind of logic will not play well here.

let's see how UW does when the seasons over, I think they probably get 5-6 wins.
Yea, they look like around a .500 team that will scare a couple of other good teams. Could end up a little better than that, could end up a little worse.
