Since I moved out here, I've missed a lot of things regarding Saints and LSU football. One thing I've really missed is hearing Jim call the Saints games. I still love watching the youtube clip where Hakim drops the ball and Jim yells "there is a God after all."

Thanks for so many great calls and memories, Jim. Look forward to hearing you again when I return.

PS: Just curious, who do you think's better with Jim? Hokie or Archie? Hokie's ok but I just thought that Archie and Jim had the perfect chemistry with each other.

Jim and Hokie > Jim and Archie IMO

Good question...

Both guys with Henderson are really good. Both bring that country boy, former player flavor. I don't know, too tough to call. I will say, I like Hokie better than Stan Brock.

Hokie's way too redneck for me. He doesn't know shite about the NFL like Archie did. All Hokie cares about is huntin and fishin. He does know his football and the Saints - but only because he is forced to do the game every week and he was an NFL player.

But Archie really loves the NFL and you can tell he watches a ton more games than Hokie does.

I don't mind Hokie or Archie. Hokie is more of a comic relief good ole boy type, while Archie's sense of humor was really dry but he could also be quite funny.

His style as the color guy is just very different than Archie's. It doesn't mean he's an idiot. I think Hokie has some very good observations sometimes.

There is no substitute for Jim and Hokie, which is why I have SIRIUS. Turn down the sound on your TV and turn up Saints radio!

Jim is going to break down in tears if we make it to the Super Bowl.

As will I.

But the highlight of SB weekend will definitely be Bobby Hebert in a dress.

True but he doesn't know shite about other players or teams now. You can tell his week consists of 40 hours killing animals, 10 hours drinking beer, and 3 hours of game prep/watching other NFL games.

He still knows the X's and O's and obviously the Saints roster, but he knows frick all about other teams.

Archie on the other hand is a HUGE NFL fan who still watches just about every game each week and can probably give you a thesis on every one of the 32 NFL teams' defenses.
