Who you taking out of Brandon Jacobs, Frank Gore, or Steve Slaton? I've already got LT as my RB1. Straight up scoring--it is not a PPR league.

I'm taking Slaton, but it seems all the experts like Gore better.

Slaton.

I think Ahmad Bradshaw is going to seriously cut into Jacobs' carries.

well the obvious answer would be Slaton if it were a PPR league, but since it isn't I probably lean towards Gore out of those three considering he is basically the only back the 9ers plan on using....

Theres no QB in SF. The box will be stacked. Theyll always be playing from behind which means theyll be throwing. Sorry, not a fan of Gore

Gore has a history of injuries. His numbers are dropping. And Glen Coffee will cut into his carries too.

Source: Mike Sando - ESPN.com

Mike Sando, of ESPN.com, reports San Francisco 49ers RB Frank Gore will still get a majority of the team's carries this season even though RB Glen Coffee has been impressive during preseason games.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ OUR VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gore is the biggest piece to the offensive puzzle in San Francisco, and will likely lead the team in receptions out of the backfield as well. If healthy, Gore could have nearly 1,200 yards rushing with 45+ receptions and around 10 total touchdowns.

Good call...

The real question is how many teams are in your league if those guys are there in the 2nd round? Those SHOULD be 1st round picks. Without PPR I'd take Gore.

Out of those three...hell I'd just flip a coin. They are very close. I'd just go with my gut. I'll say this, Jacobs was an absolute beast on Saturday night against the Bears FWIW.

Its a keeper league, and these guys weren't 'kept.'

My gut is telling me Slaton. Yes, Gore is the centerpiece of the 49er offense (an avg. offense). But Slaton is on a much better offense, albeit one in which he might not be the main weapon. I've had Gore the last few years and he has frustrated me mightily. Not sure if i can take that again.

In a PPR it's not even close. In a standard league, it's very close and anything but a no brainer. All 3 could easily be injured this year. Slaton isn't exactly a bruiser and the other 2 have a history of injuries.
