Wasn't expecting much as I've heard nothing but bad things about it, but I must say it certainly exceeded my expectations.

For what it is (a Chili's, Bennigans, etc), it's actually nice. Food's ok ... decor is pretty nice for a restaurant on that level.

I'm a huge fan of their pizza. Deep dish like that is hard to find anymore. Plus, they are still one of the few establishments in town to carry Newcastle on draft.

That is good. I also like the shrimp chardonnay pasta, the pizzas are good. I love the Jeremiah Red beer.

Right now they have “Party for Two just $19.95”. You get two small side salads or soups, any medium specialty pizza and a pizookie dessert.

I went Friday night for the first time.

Service was literally the worst I have ever had anywhere. Our Waiter was borderline retarded.

Was also waaaayyyy overpriced.

I will not go back.

That doesnt include the minimum 6$ per pint beers you have to buy. So add 6$ a pint to that $19.95 and its not as good a deal as it seems.

My sister in law is in school there and I took her to lunch there last weekend on my way home from Lafayette. I really liked the pizza and I had the Santa Fe (I think) salad that was pretty good also. The bill was like 50 bucks but I enjoyed the food. It is nothing fancy but I would go back for lunch or a quick bite to eat.

ive had a few good things there. i cant get over the service tho. i always have to hunt my server down for the check. they disappear for 20-30 minutes after we're done with our meal.

the place is a totally different experience if you sit at the bar and eat .. i know a lot of people don't like to do this or can't because of kids .. but that is what we do ... the two times i sat at tables, i agree, the service is horrible and the decent food and beer can't overcome that ... but that is just not at BJ's .. we sit at the bar almost everywhere now because service in BR in general has just gone into the toilet and i would much rather give my tip to a bartender that actually has a personality, someone you actually get to know, and actually works their asses off ..

I think that the place is very over-rated. I would go back maybe to try some of their beer but not to eat. The food just wasn't what I expected I guess.

I mostly agree with this and like to do the same when Im getting a bite with my buddies. But, sometimes you can run across a aggravating Bartender that wont leave you the frick alone. So, it could be a double edged sword.

Thats fine dude....you go spend extra money at this shitty arse chain and do as you please. I will stick with local places, and get much better food for much less money.

I've been twice and had a burger both times. Good burger IMO.
