Not Germans to me - pretty cool to see everything that's in the works all together in one document.

FWIW - You may want to edit your subject line or the first line of your post in to clarify this thread does not have renderings of the stadium enclosed endzone addition (whatever it's called).

is this actually going to happen, and if so, what's the time frame?

Were you thinking the same thing I was thinking when you read the subject line?

For half a second I thought the "That's not what it's gonna look like" slapdick had finally decided to share the Top Secret "actual design" his "buddy" emailed him...

END Thread Hijack

WOW!! Very nice presentation! Inspires me to donate a little more even in these tough times. We need LSU to be an inspiration to the rest of Louisiana. When I return to my hometown (a small one near Lafayette), I hear a whole lot about drugs and I see the downtown nearly empty of businesses with the only game in town being Wal Mart out near the interstate. The streets and sidewalks are broken with weeds coming up through the empty parking lots where businesses once stood. It's hard to see. Louisiana must move forward by moving it's young people forward and bringing industry and profitable businesses back to our small towns. They have been the backbone of Louisana and should continue to be. This movement and appeal from the athletic department of LSU should speak to all of us alumni to do what we can both personally and financially to move our state, our communities forward. It's an opportunity that we should all embrace!

An upper deck horseshoe? Come on now. Wrap that shite all the way around the stadium!

donate to the university, not the athletic department, if you really want to try and make a difference.

The north endzone it to far from the field. Plus the street below it makes that not possible. We would have the highest capacity in college football with just the south endzone enclosed, just think if one day we did both.

The plan looks okay, but they still need to re-name the bland-sounding "North Stadium Drive" into something more sexy like "Victory Hill Way" or something similar. Right now there are no markers designating Victory Hill in any way.

How about Saban Street, in honor of our old ball coach?

No on both...Saban left. Les has yet to retire.

"Charlie Mac Road"

or "Dietzel Drive"

ETA - on topic - the renderings look nice!

i fear that a fully enclosed stadium would have a lot of empty seats save for a couple of games a year.
