Season tickets start shipping Friday

BATON ROUGE -- LSU will begin shipping 2009 football season tickets on Friday, Aug. 14, Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations Brian Broussard announced.

Broussard said the shipment of tickets will continue through next week and that all season ticket holders should receive their tickets by Aug. 26. Those season ticket holders who have not received their tickets by Aug. 26 should contact the LSU ticket office at (225) 578-2184 or (800) 960-8587.

All tickets will be shipped via UPS Ground other than those ticket holders with a post office box registered with LSU's Ticket Office. Those will be mailed through the U.S. Postal Service.

Those season tickets holders who designated that their tickets be picked up at will call can do so starting on Aug. 20.

LSU opens its season on Sept. 5 when the Tigers travel to face Washington in Seattle. The Tigers play their home opener a week later when Vanderbilt comes to Tiger Stadium for a 6 p.m. contest.
