i agree. i remember when we came out with shite we outsourced it to some agency up north. i assume there's some contract saying we have to use it for a certain amount of time. hopefully it won't be too long, considering it was like 7 or 8 years ago.

The old Tiger logo couldn't be trade marked. It was too generic and looked like too may othr Tiger logos out there.
Which is why the Athletic Department went to the new one. Since they had it created, they could trade mark it. It's just like the Geaux font, in that LSU is jealously guarding the rights to it.
If this happens, and this is the first I've heard about it, it would be about dollars and cents, not sentiment.
