not unless they recently re-opened the brewery. It has been made in Wisconsin since Katrina.

i had this stuff in Florida called Native Lager or Native Proud, or something like that. It was made locally, and tasted like shite.

Georgia: Terrapin

I'm pretty sure that Terrapin is now brewed in Canada. I was a big fan of their Rye Pale Ale.

I would say the SEC is last among the BCS conferences when it comes to good local beer.

1. Pac 10
2. Big 10
3. Big East
4. ACC
5. Big 12
6. SEC

That is good news. Last six-pack I bought (a couple of years ago) was brewed in Canada. I am headed to Florida this weekend and there is a store that carries the Rye Pale Ale. I'll check it out.

Damn are you serious? That's a shame. Their beers are really damn good. The closest I can find them is the Publix in Destin. We go to Athens each year to do a big race. Afterwards we get sauced on their beer.

Sorry it's not the publix it's the liquor store to the left of it. It's actually the shopping center closer to Santa Rosa Beach. Hope that helps anyone hunting it.

From the link provided it looks like Terrapin is now brewed at its own place in Athens. It used to be brewed elsewhere on a contract basis.

is it a religious reason as to why the SEC lags in microbrews?
