One would think after watching that show that donations to the organization would begin to dwindle. I am actually rooting for the Japanese to win the fights which they do.

If I was the Japanese I would fully use everything in my arsenal to fight back.

They are completely helpless. Can they do anything right? It seems the japs have eliminated all their attacks and the Sea Fail is in a state of flux.
I would like to see a rogue hippy throw a grenade or fire a gun at the japs. Technically the japs are breaking the law so I don't feel bad for them. Their tissue sample bullshite is laughable.

I wish their boat would sink. Those hippies are a joke. They instigate attacks all day long, but when the Japs counter, they cry like little bitches.

I watch this show with the honest hope of seeing the Steve Irwin sink. Guess that makes me a bad person

why is everybody against the steve irwin, and for the Japs who are blatantly breaking the law and illegally killing whales

they are using non-lethal attacks on the japs, and the japs are inflicting actual physical attacks on the Steve Irwin, i.e. the nuts and bolt, golf balls, scrap metal, and water cannons, which almst blinded one if the men

This.

I don't understand how the Steve Irwin can blatantly vandalize the Jap ships without any authority without being fined, jailed, etc.

I also at the same time feel bad for the whales that are killed, so it is kind of a double edged sword.

I don't think that the way those extremists are going about things is the right course of action though.

They wouldn't have to if the international community did anything about it... but they don't, and they aren't the type of people who bitch about something and do nothing about it

I actually give them props for fighting for things that they believe in, and risking their lives nonetheless

How is it that the Japs are doing illegal activity but the Steve Irwin isn't?

FFS they are not the police of the sea. What gives them the right to throw chemicals on anothers ship.

Not saying the whalers are right, but the Steve Irwin is acting like a big hippie, pussy pirate ship.

It just kills me that they think it is right to attack the Japs, but they cry when the Japs fight back.

The Japanese could cause serious damage if they wanted to and not be held responsible. One of these days, I think they will.

its the fact that the steve irwin are doing stuff that does not cause injury and is considered non-violent by law... and that is why it is legal for them to do it... its the wording of the law that allows them to do what they do...

also the fact that the japs are trying to inflict physical harm and bodily injury to the steve irwin crew... its the same reason why riot poice can use tear case, taser guns, bean bags against the crowd, but obviously cant throw bricks or shot at the crowd

but im not sure about the specifics of the law, but like i said its the wording that allows the steve irwin to do what it does

I am waiting for this to happen.

Eventually, one of the Steve Irwin crew will get too daring, etc and one of them will die. It will also be the end of the show when that happens--and it will force the correct authorities into action ending this whole BS saga.

------
There is a HUGE difference between police throwing tear gas and a private organization throwing stink bombs. One is legal as they have authority, another is vandalism no matter how you slice it.

Dragging the rope contraption into the Japanese ships' propellers is an attack. Not sure what injury this could cause but the term 'non-violent' certainly doesn't come to mind when I see this.

I am waiting for the Japanese to do this back to them and actually execute it succesfully unlike the consistent failed attempts of the Sea Sheperd.

I wish the Japs would have thrown those dudes that boarded their ship overboard last season.

Everytime I watch that show I hope they do something cool to mess up the Japanese whaling operations. As somebody said before, it ends up being a boatload of fail. The only reason for going on that boat is because of the good weed they probably have. Too bad I don't smoke!
