Jai helped my buddy fix a flat on his car just now. 1:30 in the morning and stops to help the kid out. No matter what the guy does on the field, that's a classy move. Really hope he does well this year.

Definitely a classy move though... You can't count out on one hand how many of the other players would have done that.

I am always impressed when anybody under the age of 23 stops to help a stranger with some grunt work.

Bonus points awarded to Jai for:

* Past midnight (see - athletes can do things after dark besides get in trouble)

* Louisiana, even after dark, is still uncomfortably hot/muggy

Troy Giddens stopped and helped my friend remove his sound system from his vehicle. My friend didn't even have to ask him, Troy just did it on his own volition while my friend was inside Wal-Mark. High character guy.

Then you should start a "Troy Giddens: classy guy" thread... or maybe even an "I, Hideo Nomo, like shite-posting for no particular reason" thread...

Your buddy should email Miles and copy Ron Cooper with the story. I'm sure they would appreciate hearing something like that.
