He has till the first day of classes in the fall to declare his intentions & if it's a matter of money negotiations, it mite take that long. From all indications at this point, however, it sounds like he's interested in returning.

He said he would like to come back if he had a position

I've heard he's leaning towards returning. He said the only way he'd go is if he got more $ than the Phillies talked about offering him if he were drafted in the 4th round. That sum was near $140,000. He was picked in the 10th/Twins which means he's most likely coming back.

ETA: I reread the article and it Dean said the offer would have to be "substantially higher" than that.

he should come back and play a position to really boost his stock for next years draft. he also has a fews holes in his swing that he needs to fix. he has the talent to be a top 3 rounder.
