For those that went, did you have to wait in line long, or was it easy to get tix through scalpers. Just wondering, in case I go next year.

It was not hard at all, and I know many people who couldnt give a ticket away for games 2 or 3.

buying tickets from a ticket broker - is the way to go - excellent seats

no way I would stand in line from 5 am to game time to use a general admission ticket - the heat was a killer

tickets were tough to fine - good friends that were counting on players to get tickets - went the broker route & it will be tougher next year

I heard that tix were easy to find from people heading into the stadium for the last 3 games. I also saw lots of open seats, so that should mean something.

I had an extra ticket for game 3 (2nd Arky game) and couldn't give it away. The only game I couldn't get a ticket for was CG #3.

Tickets this year were crazy.

We bought box tickets third base side row 12 from ticket express day before Championship Game 3 for $89. We did not want to hassle with looking the next day.

Right before game time there were all kinds of tickets for face value or less out front of stadium.

Two kids sat next to us in box seats row 12 and they bought GA tickets for $2.50($7 tickets from Sam's in Omaha area, $10 tickets from scalpers) and moved up to where we were in the 3rd inning.

You can enter through the GA gate and go anywhere in the stadium and sit in seats not taken.

The final series should have been Fri, Sat and Sunday. The Mon-Wed. schedule killed the stadium crowd. Lots of empty seats. Monday was best attendance and it went down from there.

ESPN $$$$-"Money talks BS walks!"

All this being said we had a great ecxperience in OMAHA and will be back soon. It was everything and more people had told us. We should have gone a long time ago!

It appeared on tv that wed's game was the least attended.
Which to me makes no sense.

When J Mitch hit that HR in the first inning, RF bleachers looked empty.

Wed. was the least attended

The stadium sat empty the Saturday and Sunday before the finals.

ESPN /TV/Heat/Weekday Games = low attendance

Fri. Sat., Sunday Final Series - IMO LSU/Texas fans fill it up!

When I got there I was on a mission for about an hour to find tickets...ended up getting one about 15 rows up from 3rd base for $22 bucks

As teams get eliminated, more tickets flood the market (or maybe there is just less demand). Tickets to the early games will be less plentiful, and my observation was that this year, the brokers were significantly more expensive than last year. With next year being Rosenblatt's last, would anticipate a stronger interest locally in attending a game during the "last Rosenblatt CWS".
For the record, doubt I'll go once it moves to the new stadium, and I work walking distance from there.

Did anyone purchase tickets from the ticket exchange on the CWS website?

Our friends in Omaha couldn't go to the final game and put their grandstand seats for sale here. I'm wondering if any LSU fans used this outlet to purchase tickets.

I had an xtra ticket for game 1 - got $40 for it. But for game 2, I couldn't give it away, there were literally dozens and dozens of tickets for sale at near or below face value, right at first pitch, people who couldnt sell them were just giving them away so they wouldn't miss the game

I did for game one and it worked out pretty well. I only bought a single and actually sat next to the people that put it up there. It was nice to have an actual seat of my own for that game too!

Used it twice. Worked fine.

I got reserved tickets for all 3 finals games with ease (5 together) on ticketmaster for face value. People were paying scalpers big money and it seemed like no one even knew ticketmaster was selling any

we had no problem getting the exact seats we wanted for the entire series (we were there from Day 1 til the end)

The only time I got pissed was when we stood in the reserved line on Sunday morning for the Texas series and they cut the line off as sold out 10 people before we got tickets.

But we were still able to get tickets for the championship series easily. For Game 3, we just called Ticketmaster 30 minutes after game 2 ended and got 6 reserved seats for face value.

We were faithless idiots and bought tickets for Game 1 & 2 of the 3 game series online ... husband didn't want to travel 16 hours with 3 kids and not get tickets. As we'd never been we were just going on what we read here ... paid $$ for great seats ... just wouldn't go that route again.

Blast me if you want but I don't regret seeing the Tigers win.
