JH adds to his legend. "LSU got ahead four to nothing, then fell behind and then came back to win it!"

Uh.....Jim, we didn't fall behind.

(At the 6:29 mark on the audio.)

I noticed that too. But I wasn't going to bring it up.

For all intents and purposes, when Texas tied the game at 4, it basically felt like they took the lead.

Is it just me or does it sound like Franques is tearing up at the end?

He made a mistake at the very end, but he was excited and did not know what to say. He really did a great job at the CWS. Jim Hawthorne's has seen a lot and glade to hear him get to call another national championship.

Landry looks like he has a 98" vertical in that picture.

He is still about 700% better than Orel and Robin. I swear on my mother, during the first game, they started talking about their favorite alltime baseball movies and Orel said, my favorite is the Orel Hershiser Story... and I vomited in my mouth.
Mike Patrick had a great comeback though, when he said "That's a pretty boring movie... 59 innings of no one scoring, who wants to watch that?"
