probably more texas fans overall, but maybe more LSU fans will show up and be louder at the game.

Texas fans are everywhere...even here in Kentucky.

Probably the rank order of fan garments in Lexington:
1. UK (obviously)
2. OSU We are pretty close to Ohio
3. Louisville (but not by much over the following)
4. Bama (car stickers and hats popping up everywhere in the last year).
5. Texas
6. LSU - ok not really...but I have so much LSU crap that I feel I can rep the whole city. I only know of three residents at UK hospital who consistently wear LSU garb (myself included). Probably TN would be next.

A good friend of mine just called from Omaha and said, from what he's seen so far, LSU fans outnumber the Texas fans 15-1, and he's been all around....Tomorrow will even be better when the locals are out with their LSU gear on...he's with 4 locals now all garbed out in LSU gear....

This championship series will have the largest amount of LSU "fans" ever in Omaha and Rosenblatt. I expect, from what he told me, that the Horn fans will have that "what the frick" look in their eyes once they get to their seats...if it takes them that long...lol

Omaha LOVES LSU. Your fans rock! I've personally found the LSU fans to be friendly, polite, and when it comes to sportsmanship, you are the best! Let me tell you, Southern Miss could take serious lessons from you, I was embarrassed to have my two teen daughters in a section predominated by them in Game 4. LSU will always have the welcome matt out here in Omaha!

Everyone eats and drinks at CWS, you are no different there!
I never was really involved in CWS until a couple years ago, but had ALWAYS heard that the fans from LSU were the best. I have consistently found that over the last 3 years - if I'm next to someone in an LSU t-shirt, I know that I won't have the police dragging them out to prevent a brawl (as they did with 8-10 of the Southern MS fans), I won't be subjected to uncalled-for profanity, I will have someone who says "excuse me, ma'am" when they want out of the aisle, and most importantly, I'll have someone who cheers for their team in a sportsmanline manner. In the restaurants, LSU fans open doors for ladies, they say Please and Thank-You, and don't act like Omaha owes them the world. You are the classic "southern gentlemen" (and ladies too) that we hear about!
