I am planning on leaving for Omaha on saturday. My friends went a few years back, and I remember them saying how much fun it was to bring a tent and camp out near the stadium. My first question is do alot of people still do this? Have any of you guys ever done this? This is my first trip, any tips for a fisrt timer? Thanks for the help in advance!

should be easy. two teams are going home already. the weekend was packed because they had a dozen little league tourneys going on, and they gave them GA tickets. they all went home, so should be easy.

I stayed in a camp site in Iowa about 15 minutes from the stadium for $40 for 3 nights. split it 5 ways and it was the cheepest stay I've ever had.

A friend of mine usually stays in Iowa due to lack of hotels - 30 minute drive but you can find a room.
