I prefer to not eat out when we go. Grilling something on the beach is where it's at.

Ocean Club, and it's not even close.

Also, if you feel like taking a little ride head to Old Florida Fish House in Santa Rosa Beach.

Vin'tij Wine Boutique has the best food in the area. The cafe at Tommy Bahama is also very good, as is the Mexican restaurant Cantina Laredo, in the same shopping center. Most of the restaurants in Destin are shite.

I dont' get the love for this place. It's like a slightly above average restaurant in a nice chain hotel.

It's definitely not in a hotel.

ETA: It's on the grounds of a hotel but it stands alone and the hotel isn't a chain.

the flemings in destin is better than the one in BR imo.
