My Chase account offers a .01% interest rate.

iGObanking.com accounts offer 2.12% APY (according to LINK ).

Is there a real reason that I shouldn't convert all my savings tied up in Chase to the iGObanking account?

not really, it may be an introductory rate and there is probably a minimum balance

also, it may not be as liquid, a transfer or withdrawal may take a week instead of driving to the nearest chase and getting your money out

According to the information in the OP, 0 introductory months and $1 minimum balance to open.

While the Chase account is liquid, it really doesn't need to be. I have another account for emergencies.

You may want to look into EmigrantDirect (EmigrantDirect.com) too.

While they're rate isn't as high as 'OP', I've been having a few accounts with them for years now. Top of the line customer service, great security options, and very user friendly.
