Geez he must be drinking the Ole Miss kool aid also. I'm not sold on Ole Miss yet.

No QB? We'll see about that one...

Of course, Beano thinks that Duquesne is a legitimate BCSNC contender...

LSU's starter obviously has less experience than Snead, but its not like Alabama has shite for QB or OL

Totally irrelevant. As would be the case if they had picked LSU. Ignore them and they will go away.

He also thinks that Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn St, Ohio St, USC will win the National Championship in the same year!

When exactly was Beano ever relevant.

If he ever had any credibility he lost it with the Ron Powlus comments. I don't understand why anyone asks for his opinion on anything.

Who in the hell are some of those people, Brian Bennett for example, answering questions on the chat? Did they just pull strangers out of the crowd to create new douches like Ivan Maisel over at ESPN? Goes to show you how often I find myself visiting that shitty website.

the only thing that bothers me about this is that he is obviouly basing his opinion on mcelroys good spring game...and yet Jefferson went 80% in our spring game

I think hes basing it on Alabama only having 6 seniors graduate last year.

It's a toss up between the three favorites; however, depth will probably doom Ole Piss, and the SEC refs will do everything in their power to doom our Tigers.

What does being relevant have to do in this case?

You and I aren't relevant in the sports media world and we all have opinions.

Mine is that Ole Miss will take the West this year.

Why wouldn't they?

Alabama will not win the west, no way, no how. They have no qb. They lost their top rb (granted they have a good one coming in but still a fresh) and they lost most of their o-line. How anyone can say they will win the west is blind and stupid.

Ole Miss will be solid but teams will get a little wiser to their offense and their defense isnt anything that titles are made of. I could see how they might be the favorite to win the west though b/c they have a good qb.

Obviously Im biased but come on, no one is giving us any respect and we could easily win the west. Our two biggest weaknesses from last year and much improved and we added some new weapons as well in Shep and RR. Let them keep downplaying us though.

Yes. But nobody pays the slightest bit of attention to, or even gives a flying f*** about, your opinion. Yet they seem to think that Beano Cook's opinion is worth starting a conversation about.
