Please deliver me from Alabama. Made the mistake of turning on Finebaum today and heard Finebaum comparing Spurrier at Florida to Saban at LSU. Saban changed the culture at LSU, therefore the future success @ LSU is attributable to Saban just like the success that Urban Meyer is having @ Florida is because of Spurrier. This was a conversation that Finebaum and a caller were having after he interviewed Spurrier.

I know that people will say they don't care, but nothing else is going on. Just thought I'd stir the pot and tell you what the Bammers are continuing to say.

finebaum says things just to get a rise out of people. he does it to everyone, even alabama. people put way too much into what he says. i personally find him entertaining. he's from memphis and went to UT, so it's not like he's a bama fan.

Yes, because they were all highly drafted and completely irreplaceable.

Except not.

I could see where one could make the argument. But then again, everything that happens in the future happens because of something in the past, so, it's sort of a moot topic.

I truly understand and can relate. I choose not to listen. I tried for a year and just could not get any facts concerning anything sports related from that show or that train wreck called the morning drive on jox fm. Listening to finebaum is akin to watching The View. Gossip and BS is the standard. If you continue to listen to that person, just realize he is not knowledgable concerning sports and strictly for entertainment purposes. That show cannot be taken literally.

Looking forward to the baseball tourney. Just about the only good thing about living here.

you know of all the shite that is said about Saban this one I will agree with. LSU always had the potential, but never had the right guy to deliver the message and get everyone on the same page. For one reason or another Saban did this, I give him the credit for it.
