I need to do a presentation on NCAA violations. Anyone have any relevant info/ large violations that stand out. I am out of the loop on this one.

What are the "draconian sanctions" that were put in place under Brady?

Thanks

Search FSU's sorry history. Gambling QB's throwing games, blank checks from boosters, rampant cheating on tests, jocks starting riots in the student center, etc.

You could do a story on Pete Bell anywhere from the point shaving incident by Tony or the illegal recruiting of Ricky Roe, Butch McRae, or Neon Bado. I think they got the death penalty because I haven't heard much out of Western University since. Shaq probably knows if you can get a hold of him.

There have been a few schools that have received the death penalty, which means a sport is shut down for a year or two. SMU football is the most famous. The rest can be found here LINK
Pretty much every school out there has been on probation for something at one point or another.

A little???????????????????????

While you are at it, check out USL's basketball program in the early 70's (got death penalty) or Centenary College's basketball program in mid-1970's when they got someone else to take the incoming basketball players' SAT for them because half of them could barely read.
