Looking for Admin. assistance

I'll admit to NOT being the brightest ember in the fire, however, I have followed all of the instructions that have been before me, and I still can't get a signature pic to show. Went to imageshack and registered, put the jpg image in, and linked it in my profile. What am I missing?

Did you use the one the says "Direct Link to Image" next to it?

Had that happen to me so I restarted my computer and bingo it worked...Good luck & welcome to the board.

I'll double check that...and make sure it ends in jpg also....and then I'll reboot. Fast responses, I sure didn't expect that......and thanks for the welcome, I've been a lurker for several years but decided to 'get my feet wet' and see the other side.

Now we're cooking with Gas! LOL...the reboot did the trick looks like.....thanks skillet and everybody who weighed in to help.
....and no, I'm not a sig admin.....not even close!
Now, I just need to shrink it a bit....any clues? (or I'll take downright instructions...hahaha)

Hey Stout and Dolla....thanks....things you take for granted are real boulders in some paths that others of us take.
I'll tackle sig messages and avatar pics another evening.

Hidden Jewel? Are you kidding me.....haha...the Help Board is the Grand Central Station, the New York City, the US of A for any non-computer genius who is new to the Ultimate in Sports Websites, TigerDroppings.com. First place I landed as soon as I decided to make a presence on the Rant. It IS a hidden Jewel if you mean it's very precious and valuable. I can only hope that the reception in the other boards is as pleasant as the one here, in the Help Board.
