Does this put him back in center and move Mahtook out of the lineup? Or... Does it push Schimpf back to 2nd and DJ back to SS and Nola out of the lineup?

Any ideas?

ETA: ** He is currently 2 for 3 right now.

It does neither because one good game means absolutely nothing.

I understand that. I just was thinking how he's two for three right now and it got me thinking what if? I know you can't say the slump is over yet. It was just a question.

If anything I think Nola is out. Mahtook has played more games and has a better bat than Nola. Honestly I would not mind Landry's glove back in center. There has been a few balls Mahtook did not get to that I think Landry could have since going to the bench.

Putting Nola in the line-up wasn't based on Landry's hitting, it was a defensive decision.

Leon's best hope is to platoon with Schimpf and move JM back to left and MM to right, but that also would put the "old infield" directly back into place and subtract Nola. Dean and Schimpf are in the lineup from here to Omaha, every day.

In other words, platooning so that Landry can play would basically change everyone's position except Hanover, Gibbs, and O'Chincko.

You can't replace Mahtook with Landry, Mahtook is better in every facet of the game. If the move was made it would be to go back to the opening day lineup with Mahtook in RF instead of Jones.
