How do you pronounce the word "err"?


As in, "to make a mistake."

Do you pronounce it like "air" (as in "error"), or like "ur"?

Say error outloud...then say air...rinse and repeat...tell me they don't sound similar.

Me either, but I got in a discussion about this the other day, and it turns out that "ur" is actually the correct pronunciation, and "air" is not even an alternate.
