T/F? Benjamin Linus is the most interesting character on TV.

I think Ben of Lost is the most interesting character on television today. Michael Emerson is fantastic and it is a crime that he has not won an emmy. I have no idea what Ben is thinking ever. He has fooled me and surprised me time and time again and I still can't figure out what is motivating him or what he's going to do next. I love this character.

I have no idea if he is true evil or if he is just willing to sacrifice the needs of the few for the needs of the many.
He seems like pure evil in one scene then they show he has a heart in the next scene.
Tonight was amazing. Showing that he was not a cold blooded killer, but then showing he was in the same scene.
I agree he deserves more accolades. He is truly great in this role.

he is a good guy, who is consumed by power... after that last episode, maybe he will be humbled

I'm convinced Ben is a good guy. He's just paying his dues to the island for saving him(he may have got off on a bit of a power trip, still not sure....kind of seems like it all worked out how it was supposed to) but I think from here on out he'll be the good guy.

I doubt it. I think Ben will play goodie-goodie for a while, but soon he won't be able to take Locke being in power over him in the hierarchy of the Others. I think the episode foreshadows that when Ben decides to try and kill Locke again, this will ultimately lead to his death.

thats what you may think, but this show is so unpredictable that "foreshadowing" doesn't mean shite alot of times

Yea, I agree. If he wasn't doing things for the island, the monster would have definitely killed him. I think this got him back on track but he still is a deciving mofo.

i think we all had no doubt that the monster was going to spare him. yeah maybe some of us were surprised when they killed off a guy like charlie, but we all knew there was no way they killed off ben with still over a season to go.

i think the fact that the good guy/bad guy argument sparks so much debate with great points for each position is just one of the many reasons this show is so good
ETA: i would say to this point for the most part he has been a bad guy, although i dont hate him as much as i did in the season he was first introduced
