If I break down and spend the money for this product, am I correct in assuming that I will get actual video of most of the BBall games or just audio unless game televised?

video available for all home baseball games. video is not available for many away games. the UGA series this weekend is one of the few exceptions.

I'm a GeauxZone subscriber. Some thoughts:

It's indispensible if you live far away (especially overseas)

It's also great if you like to watch the weekly press conferences live and/or you like to go back and watch archived games

If you live in BR the actual benefit will be marginal. But if you won't miss the $50, then it's no big deal.

Finally, you will experience some service issues (going off line for periods of time, breaks in the video, etc). Also there is a time delay so if you are following the game, live stats or a TD game thread will have the result of a play before you see the video and hear the audio.

I received this in my email on March 27th.

quote:

Greetings Geaux Zone Subscriber,

Thank you for your support of LSU Athletics! We're excited by the successful winter sports season and are in the midst of a historic season of LSU baseball and softball. We're looking forward to bringing some great LSU action - LIVE - to Geaux Zone subscribers!

There are a couple aspects of the Geaux Zone that we wanted to share with you as we continue SEC play.

First, LSU has partnered with other SEC schools on JumpTV's network to share video from as many road baseball and softball events as possible this year. Of the 30 remaining baseball games, live video of at least 22 will be available to you as a Geaux Zone subsciber. Live audio of all games will also be available.
Additionally, we would like to extend more information to you about our Customer Care resources.
We have a number of folks working hard to deliver this service to our loyal LSU friends and alums, and it's our intention to deliver live game coverage with consistent audio and video quality.

quote:

Due to the wide variety of PC and Mac platforms, operating systems, browsers, applications, etc, that are available to consumers, we recognize that some Geaux Zone subscribers may need support to ensure they're set up to for the best possible audio and video experience.

quote:

If you encounter any issues with your Geaux Zone subscription or video experience, please contact our customer care team, who are available to you from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. CT,

I have had some problems with the live video in the past and Geaux Zone did reply to fix the situation...I found out that I have a shitty internet provider... But anyways yesterday I watched the whole game without any problems...

When I click on video it directs me to the UGA website? Last night I had no problem watching the game.

I ordered the service and had no problems yesterday. Video is a little grainy when viewing full screen but otherwise I had no issues.
