Rock Band or Guitar Hero World Tour?

Has anyone played both? I'm looking to pick one of these two up soon.
I've played Rock Band and loved it, but haven't tried Guitar Hero: World Tour.
As of now Guitar Hero: Metallica is making me lean toward GH:WT, but I was wondering what people think.

I have both. I prefer the Guitar Hero instruments, but the song catalog for Rock Band is amazing.... and always growing.... can't say the same for GH. I will definitely be getting GH Metallica, game only.

GH has no plans for DLC?
I looked at the setlist for both GH:WT and RB ... and RB has a wide array of songs I like, but I do like that GH:WT has 3 Tool Songs (I'm a huge Tool fan)
If I had RB already I would skip GH:WT and get GH:Metallica, but I really want to play drums ...

GH puts out DLC every week, but i would say that RB's DLC is better, they put out more, and RB already has a massive library

I'm a big Rock Band supporter. I have both, and don't like GH:WT that much. The only thing I prefer in guitar hero is they actually show your stats on a song, unlike rock band. But the most frustrating thing about GH is not knowing how difficult a song is - so fricking annoying when trying to advance to the next level.
Also, the 3 tool songs in GH:WT aren't that great imo - when actually playing them they are pretty drawn out and boring. Just my opinion - they could have got much much better Tool songs.

Buy Rock Band 2, Rent RB1, buy the key for all RB1 songs to be uploaded to RB2, 2 games for the price of 1 and a little more.
I have played both, RB is a better game, imho.

i agree, and their special tool venue blows...it's truly awful
