Should I give them to a deserving LSU fan, or sell them for a ridiculous amount of money on Stub Hub, then go to Vegas and make it rain?

I would give/sell them to an LSU fan. Don't be that guy.

Hell, you could sell them for a rediculous amount of money on our own Ticket Exchange. That place has become a scalper's paradise.

You can combine the LSU Fan and the Gambler parts of your personality by purchasing the tickets yourself, and then selling them game-by-game to LSU fans and making more money if LSU has a great season than if things go badly.

I'd buy them for a reasonable price FWIW, just not 2X the face+tradition that 90% of the sellers are asking for over there.

Yeah, but then he wouldn't have the lump sum required to go to Vegas and make it rain.

I just got word that I can have my buddy's season tickets for the next 2 years at least.

Was like Christmas Day for me.

You can have the best of both worlds... sell them for mucho deniro to an LSU fan who is willing to pay out the arse (trust me you will be able to find some who will)

I've been buying some from a guy for the past 2 seasons for right around his cost of getting them every year. It's a huge help and I greatly appreciate it. You should do the same.

This is a no win situation.

Hear me out. If LSU loses a game or two before Florida, then the season tickets lose a TON of value. If he sells them one at a time then he has to basically make all of his money off of the Florida/Auburn/Arkansas/Vandy games. He'd be lucky to get face for ULL and Tulane. If he sells the Florida tickets for $200 a piece (which is quite possible, but bordering on the edge of anally raping another fan) Then he has to sell the rest for a huge amount to get what he would have made selling them together. I'm sorry, but Auburn isn't worth more than $100 and Arkansas and Vandy tickets will be floating around for face near the stadium.

Moto of the story: better to sell them as a season package.

Two years ago I sold three Florida tickets for a grand a piece. Thats the kind of pesos I'm gonna need to make it rain.

Those scalpers can die a slow death.. Since they have donated a large amount of money to start their 'business' they prevented alot of regular fans from getting the tickets. Then they try to charge US for their right to have those tickets. No thanks I will hang out around the stadium and buy at face value or LOWER. Im not going to pay a what amounts to 500 dollars a ticket to watch the two good games a year.

you can certainly get at least $1000 a ticket. i sell mine every year for this rate. i just sold mine again last weekend for the upcoming season for that price. i figure i could have gotten more $$ closer to opening weekend but needed the cash for something else. i use the margin by making 1 road trip per year and blowing it out.
