Have you been to the ooc games? Why would you spend all that money to expand when it will only be full 2-3 times a yr.?

$$$. If you're selling all the tickets and there's a waiting list for seasons tickets, it doesn't really matter to LSU that there are empty seeks for many of the ooc games.

I think you have that backward. It would only be """NOT FULL""" 2-3 times a year (Tulane, ULL, Arky State, North Texas, Middle Tenn, etc.)

But Tiger Stadium would seat 110,000+ for SEC and big OOC games.
Remember these recent packed SRO games?:

-Georgia and Alabama last year?
-Va. Tech, Arkansas, Auburn, and Florida in '07 ?
-Arizona and Alabama in '06 ?
-Tennessee, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida in '05 ?
(After Katrina no less!)
-Oregon State and Alabama in '04 ?
-Georgia, Arkansas, Auburn, and Florida in '03 ?

Embarrassing how some of our fans spell. Tiger Stadium could definitely expand to at least 105-110k.

Why is it that some have this idea that bigger somehow translates to better? It's fine as it is. It holds almost 100K fans. Do we really need to be Neyland?

Yes it does.....Even though $$$ is TOP priority....actual attendance is up there too...

Look at the seasons basketball situation and email if you want to see an example

Yea...it could...but would take YEARS to regularly fill like Tenn and Ohio St.

And god forbid if we have a 4 loss season....every game would look like Troy

Yes, we do need to expand to hold all the fans who would definitely show up if there were only more seats available inside the stadium. LSU has one of the largest fan bases in the nation, hands down!

You can expand one endzone, and charge like $20 bucks a seat. It would fill up. If there is really high demand, then slowly increase that amount to like $25. It would pack out.
