Anyone know of a good place to stay headed back to Louisiana the Saturday night after the Alabama game that's not to far of a drive. I'm not having too much luck finding anything.

University of West Alabama is located there so it has hotels but not many. It's the biggest town west of Tuscaloosa before you get to Meridian. It's about 45 minutes outside of T-Town.

Meridian is close enough to get to from BR on Friday after work, close enough to Tuscaloosa for plenty of tailgating, and not too bad of a drive home on Sunday.

They are also just outside of the area that jacks up hotel prices on Saturdays in the Fall. Try checking the rates of hotels around Tuscaloosa on a Saturday in May compared to November.

Take Ala 269 out of Tuscaloosa back towards Birmingham. Cruisin' the whole way. 'Course we have over 7 months to get that mapped out.

4 hotels available in Tuscaloosa, all deals are through Priceline. Be careful though and read the terms, some of these places require you to pay up front and are non-refundable.
