An LSU reference on a Rangers' blog

As I was going through my routine of reading Texas Rangers blogs, I came across this in the March 6th update of T.R. Sullivan's blog:
"* This happened in February: the LSU Tigers baseball team defeated Villanova, 11-1, in the second game of their weekend series in Baton Rouge, La. The series is the first to be played in LSU's new, $23-million Alex Box Stadium. In the eighth inning, freshman Beau Didier of Federal Way, Wash., in his first collegiate at-bat blasted a two-run home run over the right field wall. Didier is the grandson of Rangers scout Mel Didier, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the new stadium."

Nothing great, but I think it's always cool to see LSU be mentioned.
