He was a great leader for the defense in '03. The only game we lost that year to Chris Leak and Florida was the game Hunt was injured and didn't play.

Jack was fun to watch play, a coach on the field as someone mentioned earlier!

I met Jack Hunt and Blain Bech at the most remote bar in Louisiana about a month ago and shot pool with Jack. Bar called Cuz's in Tensas. They we're there for a Hunting trip as was I. Nice guy, a little goofy....but he was really drunk at the time. One of the most random encounters ever. (I remember thinking he was kinda skinny to play safety, fwiw)

I think Jack improved greatly after being skull dragged by Roy Williams in the Cotton Bowl. He was a beast after that.

I dunno if he's married, but I see him with Steve Carter's daughter often.

Damn that game was terrible. One of the rare games that Randall played well, until he got injured.

I heard he married the daughter of the owner of the Tinsel Town or some other major cinema company. Could be wrong.

He was my son's favorite player ... wrote a letter to him for English class in like 7th grade ... actually responded to him with an autograph. Still on our LSU wall ...
