Latest has Stoudemire to Miami, Beasley to Memphis, Marion and Gay to Phoenix.

D-Wade and Stoudemire would work, but they give up beasley and marion. Marion prob would be gone after the season anyway.

Beasly to Memphis would also work for the Grizz, since Mayo and Gay fight over who's going to shoot more...and gives them a core of conley, mayo, beasley. Nice young group.

And Phoenix, not sure what this does for them, they just got Richardson, but it gets rid of Amare which they seem determined to do.

Thoughts?

it would clear cap space when marion is gone next year, plus gives them a good young 3 in gay. Richardson is a 2. This would be a great deal for all teams, especially Miami. They would be an instant contender in the East.

Oh yea Miami looks to be the winner here. I'm curious to see what will happen with Marion after the year...but Wade and Stoudemire inside/outside combo is niiice.

It's still unbelievable to me how far Phoenix has fallen off in one year.

I think it works well for all three involved.

New coach, new system. They're still only 2.5 behind the Hornets.

I don't see how its rebuilding when you get rid of a 26 year old stud, even if he doesnt defend and keep shaq and nash's old asses around haha. Stoudemire is a premier offensive talent. You're looking in 2 years at a 37 year old nash, 38 year old shaq, and you have gay, richardson, and robin lopez. Kerr better figure something out, cause that teams not doing anything.

shaq is playing well, and they're trying to deal his contract also

nash has no market. they're stuck with him

in 2 years shaq's $20M salary will be off the books (last year is next year). same with nash's $13M salary

what gay needs is to be a 2nd scorer for an offensive-minded team. I AM PSYCHED

gay and haslem's value increasing = money

nash has a ton of market value. he still can play and he puts asses in the seats and he has a soon to be expiring contract.

he's not being traded because suns fans would stop coming in droves if he left.

i think amare's value would increase as well. ton of low post shots to be gained in miami, plus it's a big city that he'd want to stay in and impress.
amare is all about celebrity.

But away from the Phoenix talk, honestly Stat and D-Wade will average close to 60 ppg together...not sure if they have enough around them to become a contender in the East, but they'll definitely be relevant.
