Here's just a few reasons:

1. RR/Benton. If the number one prospect in the nation is that concerned about Benton coming to LSU, and that's influencing his decision, then what does that say about benton, who is already coming???

2. It doesn't look like alabama is sitting well with ruben anyway and I think more than likely if it's not us, it's oklahoma. Besides, if he goes to bama, well, then I hope he's ready to meet mr. craig.

3. Our defensive issues have finally been addressed!! Our D coaches are some of the best around. And our QB situation is finally looking solid. This makes me happy above everything else.

4.Reuben's decision might be/has been delayed. My gut tells me a couple of things about this:

1.Either we almost lost him, and he's trying to clear things up with the coaches.
2. His dad is trying to convince him to leave.
Again, either way, I'm fine.

5.Don't forget about the other big fish out there. No doubt, surprises await.

Our football team his definitely heading in the right direction and I'm really looking forward to next year..seeing that stingy D and Dynamic O I know and love!

Im with you on all of this. Our football team has been headed in the right direction over the last 6-7 years. Miles will continue to work his magic with recruiting and picking great assistants.

By the way last time I checked the PROGRAM is bigger than any recruit will ever be.

This is looking to be an exciting time for LSU football. Miles is an offensive guy and will gamble if necessary. Saban is a defensive guy. If I were a high school looking to play offense who would I want to play for. Oklahoma offensive team minded but lost how many in a row in final game(Bowls). Record against Saban and Miles not so good and Florida, however they score a lot against the big 12 and who going to QB if their senior gets hurt and the years after he's gone.
