With UF's loss to UT, LSU takes the top spot in the conference, no?
I know it doesn't matter until the end, but it's nice to see this level of improvement in the first year.

What does this mean? LSU has to be considered the frontrunner to win the SEC at this point. The next two games are very winnable with a trip to UGA and hosting Bama next Sunday. There is a lot of ball left to be played, but LSU's chances are just as good if not a little better than anyone else in the league.

@ Georgia- They havent gotten an SEC win yet
Alabama- Shouldve beaten them on the row but the refs prevented it we will beat them by atleast 20
@ Miss. St.- Beat them by 20 already
Ole Miss- Beat them by 30 on the road
@Arkansas- probably our toughest game remaining
Auburn- cant be that good
Florida- Tough game but home court advantage
@Kentucky- have dropped games to ole miss and usc, teams we have beaten by 20+
Vandy- were at home
@Auburn

You know this conference is sad this year when the #1 team in it is not even ranked

yea the conference is so sad that, coming into this week, Kentucky was the "best" team in the conference and they go on the road and lose to Ole Miss, a team we beat by 30 early just 2 weeks ago, and then lose to SC AT HOME, the same SC team we beat AT HOME by 17, but this conference is sad...let me tell ya

Ole Miss beat Kentucky, Tenn beat UF. You never know with this game. It wouldn't surprise me if we lost 1 or 4 of our remaining games.

Maybe the conference is sad...but live for the moment.....at top of the SEC, which I'm guessing, not many of you even thought would be the case, even if it is this early in conference play. And even if the conference is sad, if LSU keeps up it's play and wins the SEC regular season title, they will get an invite to the tournament. Once the invite comes, and it will, you can throw out how sad the conference supposedly is because with the way LSU is playing, if they keep it up, I like the Tigers chances of making some noise at the big dance.
Be glad that we have Trent Johnson as our coach...I for one am. It's been a long time since I have seen a LSU basketball team hustle the way this team does. Trent Johnson has taken control of the ship and definitely has it sailing in the right direction. The word that I think of when I watch the Tigers play is ENERGY.
This basketball team is a hell of a lot of fun to watch, and it has been a long time since I have said that. And to all of you that have been at the PMAC supporting this team in person, kudos to you. Keep it up and keep getting the old timers to stand up and make some noise and the place will become what it once was, the Deaf Dome. I am impressed with everything our coach has done in his first year.
