Remember these days next year...

Like all of you, I'm enjoying the hell out of the bkball season so far. Coach Johnson has these guys playing good ball. They're #1 in our hearts, #1 in the SEC West and looking good to make a run in the tourney - if it were played today.
But there are an awful lot of contributing seniors on this team. Remember that next year when it's possible that we'll struggle.
Look at Arkansas - they made a run last year, made the tourney, with a new coach. But the ranks are depleted this year. Regardless of how we do in recruiting this year, we will miss MThornton and QThornton and Chris Johnson and, especially, Garrett Temple.

We are a Greg Monroe from being really really really dangerous this year....sad. But I still love the chemistry of the team. It just isnt deep or big enough.

Not sure...but would love to get another JC transfer as good as Marcus has been...we're gonna need it i think.

Great post Nacho!
I really do hope people remember this but this is the rant. I would bet anything that at some point next year you will see any of these comments:
1. LSU is not a basketball school and our team proves it
2. I guess anyone could have won with Brady's players
3. Trent can't recruit and can't coach
4. LSU basketball sucks and will never be back to where it once was
5. LSU got taken to the cleaners when they hired Trent
6. Les Miles can't coach
7. No LSU RB gets enough carries
8. Charles Scott gets too many carries
9. Jordan Jefferson is awesome
10. Jordan Jefferson sucks
11. Lee should never have been given a scholarship
12. Can we please give Lee another chance b/c Jefferson Sucks

Bottom line - remember what Trent Johnson has done to impress you this season, because we simply won't have the talent on the floor next season.
And, ignore rantards. That's good life advice in general.
